The Pattern of Destruction
The California “Water Wars” have reached new proportions and fish and fishermen are losing the battle. Those who are willing to destroy California’s fish runs by diverting more water for their own special interests have almost succeeded. The states native Central Valley salmon and steelhead runs are predicted to go extinct without major water policy changes coupled with improved river and Delta habitat conditions.
This website provides fishermen and others a way to organize and be represented in the political process. Unless we organize, we will lose these battles and our fish. The primary focus of this website is to reverse the salmon and other fisheries destruction in the Sacramento and San Joaquin Rivers and in the California Delta.
